Default squeaking

ive got an 01 GT and when i hit bumps i get some squeaking noises, just wonderin what it might be and if its an easy fix...figured it was something with the springs/shocks, sorry if my vagueness doesn't help

i have the same problem with my 2004 gt.....when i hit potholes or speedbumps there is a really annoying squeeking sound.....i also get the same squeeking sound when i accelerate....i can't figure out where its coming from....i have 47k miles so i would think my shocks and springs shouldn't be squeeking that much....

My exhaust rubs my fuel tank a little on hard turns and squeeks... some day I'll get down there and actually fix that. But my car does squeek a bit in the rear suspension... It's about time for suspension rebuild anyway though, so I'm just dealing with it for now to see if that fixes it.

the stock struts are good for oh about 20k miles, that and the rubber bushings for all the control arms blow big kahunas.

check control arm bushings, they are terrible stock upgrade to polyurethane. Not hard to do yourself, just time consuming.

i don't notice it when i accelerate but my exhaust is pretty loud to cover it up but its very noticeable on bumps and stuff...as far as the wd-40, where at? everywhere or just in certain spots?
