nothing wrong with a roush blower, so long as its the series IV, its probly better than the 1.7 in some ways - but i wouldnt buy either [8D]
series IV is a saleen unit....which is a 1.6 whipple
so is the equivolent later roush unit, im not sure of the model name - but they both changed from the m90 eaton

You do not reflash with the K/B it comes with a safe tune by chip included and it is twice the s/c compared to roush although I may be slightly biased.

its all in the Tune and the HP, not so much the lbs of boost... i know a guy that is running 12 lbs of boost and 420 - 425 rwhp for over a year now with no problems

in my experience, the chip that KB sends you if very watered down and leaves much on the table... it is a safe tune to run, but anyone who doesnt take advantage of a dyno and a good tuner is missing out

I agree it is a very safe and conservative tune with room for improvement on a dyno.
