Default Shift *****?

Just bought a cool MGW short shifter. What choices do I have for a cool shift ****? Pics would really help me! Thanks!

Since you already got the MGW why not get their gripper shifter with either the running pony or GT logo in your choice of chrome or machined metal

kind of off topic but how do you like that shifter? i had a tri-ax and it was to stiff for my liking so i went back to the stock unit with the tri-ax handle. its not bad but i would like something better.

yeah i know that but i felt the tri-ax on other gt's and my buddys cobra but none of them were as stiff as the one i had on mine. i guess mine was just weird. all i am asking is, is the MGW a good aftermarket shifter to buy?

Any short shifter that really shortens the throw will require more effort than the OEM unit--that's just plain 'ol principles of mechanical advantage. The shifter only contributes to the extent that it's centering/positioning springs might be more or less stiff than another--that may be what you were experiencing.I personally like strong centering springs, particularly with a transmission like the Tremec 3650 whichis nota veryprecise shifting tranny to begin with...
