03/04 COBRA'S NEED TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!!!!
race last night...
LT4 Trans AM S/C 8psi. Auto on 17" street slicks vs. 03 Cobra high 11 sec. car on 15" M/T's
The problem is that the Cobra driver sucked. He lost by like 4 cars. All the cobra driver's around here tend to be very bad driver's and lose to many ls1 (stock with slicks) and even lt1s that have way less horsepower.

true but it irritates me how their cocky about their car but can't back it up. Two of my friends have cobra's- 99, vortech t-trim with aftercooler, full exhaust, and 03 with full bolt ons, full exhaust, 480rwhp. and when it comes to racing, they get smoked. they do not know how to launch.

You cant exactly dump the clutch at 4k rpm on stock IRS... Not too many people can get good launches in cobra's... though I have seen more then one person pull 1.7XX 60's on just drag radials with IRS.
Do you have a blown cobra? Have you ever taken one to the track and seen how well you can launch them? If not I wouldnt be the one to make fun.
Only reason I say that is because I have solid rear axle with drag radials and I get terrible 60ft's... It takes ALOT of practice and know how to get good launches... with my luck your probably some record holding launcher in drag racing so I think I'll shut up now...

I never said i'mthe bestdriver. My point is if you talk smack, back it up. That is why i stay quiet, i don't brag b-cuz i am not the best. But when u brag about being this and that, then u better step up your game. Or just don't race at all, giving mustangs a bad rep. That's why ppl look down on stangs. Most ppl withthese look like their good drivers b-cuz they have a fast car. And yes, i've drivenone of theircar's to (99 cobra)the track (LACR which no longer exists) and I happened to pull slightly better numbers on his own car...

granted if I had 500rwhp I would talk trash too... assuming I wouldnt have to back it up... LOL

They just need to practice. Everytime i need some practice, I go to a UPS site near by house at around 2 in themorning and practice on their lot. ppl just need to practice before they go out adn make themselves look bad.
