How do i use a fuel line disconnect tool?
i need to replace my fuel rails with 01 fuel rails with a schrader valve and i just got them in the mail and i need to get this done tonight. ive never used a fuel line disconnect tool and have no clue how to use one. how do i use it?

Stuff the tool in the hole... then pull... [&:]
Seriously though, that's about it. Close the tool around the fuel line, and push the part that sticks out down into the ring connecting the fuel lines... Then, at the same time, pull the lines apart. It'll take some working but you'll get it.
This is the same for the metal autozone tool with two sides, as it is for the plastic ring set.

i was under my car for 20 minutes trying to figure that tool out only to realize i had the wrong size [:@]but yea, just slide it in until you hear/feel a click then separate both lines

and watch your face... as soon as you pull that filter off gass will start to pour out. if you get Gas in your eyes run them under water for at least 30 min... you can do heavy damage.

haha luckely not... just a good tip to know since theres a good chance it can happen... better to let them know what to expect and what to do IF it happens... then see them go legally blind haha.
Make sure you drain your lines before you remove the filter unless you want to leak half your tank out... do you know how to do that?? (not being a smartass)
