Default Headers question

Do the 99+ mustang GT's come with "factory headers" or do they come with exhaust manifolds? Also I have heard that when you begin to mod these cars that headers dont provide much of an improvement in performance is this true?

Use the search feature... 99+ come with exhaust manifolds. LT's give good performance gains. Shorties don't give much of anything.

Shortys are not worthless. True they don't give you as much hp as LT's, but you don't have to take the passenger side off when you need to drop your trans, you don't have the PITA installtion, there's no need to worry about scraping, you don't lose low end power, and they're less expensive.
