Ok, first of all, all the #'s match on the car. I agree that it sounds sketchy, so find out a couple more things. Ask them if he was the 1st owner of the car. I can find out who it was originally sold to. If he is the 2cnd owner find out who he bought it from and where. Often times the way you do a transaction like this is to hire your own broker to re-import the car back to the usa for you. You typically pay them a flat fee to do this, and they will check out the deal for you. -But since it sounds so shady, first find out his whole name and where he got it from and when. I'll see if it matches Saleen's records.

Most likely the car doesn't even exist. Seems to be a very common scam but usually they try and buy your car for more that your asking with you returning the difference.

I have contacted the FBI, Local police, EBAY, Square Trade, everyone. when he says he is insured money for this deal, he is lying. i could not get my money back and i am screwed because of it. i want this guy taken down and him to be in federal prision. please do not tell him i am in contact with you and please do not send him the money as of yet!!
