2003 Saleen Scam?!?
Hey guys I found a 2003 saleen about 20 miles from me on autotrader.com. The owner said it is in perfect condition, with only 26k miles. The fishey thing is, he only is asking around 9k I emailed him about it, and this is what I got back......

Thank you for email, is a 100 % SALEEN, it isn't anything wrong with it and it's in perfect condition but i have some serious problem with my restaurant i am due to the bank, if you are interested to buy the car this is the details of the payment,shipping and condition of the car..
The car is in perfect condition,with no scrach on it,no damage,the price is 9,500.00 USD with shipping included.All the manuals and the original documents are in England. It is made for US market and has US specs on it (speedometer in miles). The buyer will receive this along with all papers and receipts that he needs to register it in his name.Also will receive the title,keys,owner manual... It has a Clear Title and it is in Showroom Condition. The car is in Europe, England a and it will be shipped from here on my expense. Shipping will be done via Parcelforce and it will take no more then 3-4 days.The shipping will be free so you don't need to pay any fees when you receive it at your door. Also, I have to let you know that I want the payment priorr shipping since I will ship it in the same day or next day the payment is complete .You have nothing to worry about because this deal will be done in a secure way if
you prefer. The most important thing in all my activity here is that I am affiliated at Square Trade , I have a a purchase protection account for 9,300.00 USD and I assume you know what this means.How you are protected by Square Trade, in case we have a deal:
1) If you will not receive the car as i described to you,although this is not the case,Square Trade will refund you with 100% from the whole amount which you paid me.Even in case you will not receive the car,they will refund you the money.
2) You can send the money to my name and address but you will not give me the details from the payment.You will give the details to Square Trade.They will verify the payment and if is OK,if the money exist and are available under my name they will notify me to proceeder with the shipping.After you receive and see that the item is the one you want,you just notify Square Trade to forward me the payment details in order for me to pick up my money.

no its on autotrader.com, The guy left a number to call him, but I tried a few times and the number doesnt work. big suprise there. if anyone feels like looking at it on autotrader, I dont have a link but just do a search in the 02780 zipcode within 75miles. you'll see it towards the end

Yeah right $9,500 my a$$. Maybe the engine. Total scam dude. I don't care how much money you owe, a car is worth what it's worth, and somebody will buy it for what it's worth. Doing business internationally is shifty anyway because the laws aren't as clear cut when dealing with somebody in another country. You will simply be out $9,500. I feel sorry for any poor soul that falls for that crap.

I can almost bet the car was stolen from here and de-vin'd and he is trying to bring it back here now or something to that affect. If the guy only lives 20 miles from you then go bust him out. Thats what I would do. LOL
