Did a helicoil on the #3 cylinder about 2,000 miles ago *max* after the plug blew out, and the threads stripped.
Last night, a few hours after the burnout I left for home, assuming I'd be going slow because of the tires that were .01% safe.
Instead, it was the rattling/horrible misfire that had me traveling 25-35 mph the whole 5-6 mile trip.
Today, I started from the front (#1) on the passengers side and went back from there, got to the #3 plug, which is the one that I had done the helicoil on, and removed it to find that the top was once again, forced down onto itself, much like I had found it after it had blown out of the head, just that it was still securely in the head this time.
So what is it? Do I have issues beyond a misfire now? I mean, come on, I can't catch a break in the last 2 months to save my own goddamn life.

JayC, expalin how detonation would cause the plug to set in on itself.
Not ignoring the post before that, but he's too negative.lol
If the helicoil is off, then yea, the heads scrap in my opinion, but if it's been alright for about 2K miles up to about two weeks ago, then I doubht the actual placement of the helicoil, and the location of the spark plug itself is the problem.
I was talking to shadowdrake and he guessed that alot of the sounds that I was hearing was just that, detonation. Though im not 100% sure what it is.
Any other suggestions.
