Default warranty work

well i just dropped my gt off at the dealer... for the 2nd gear syncro work, will they probably just rebuild it? hoe long do you think theyl have it if they rebuild the trans?[:@]

Not sure on your Q, but i have one of my own. what year is your GT? do you have any mods to it?

When you say 2nd gear syncro problems in guessing you have a newer stang with a TR3650 in it. Yeah they will rebuild it and with better parts. And the new syncros have less teeth so its easier to mesh with other gears. It usually takes around 6 hours. Depending on when they get to it.

oh sorry i type too fast, its an 03 just have mac muffs and 03 cobra wheels, but nothing else. its the problem with the syncros in the transmission. when it grinds when its cold, shifting from 1st to 2nd.

No, nothing voids youre warranty. If you put an Aftermarket part on and it breaks a related part, then you pay for it not warranty company.

would my mods void the warranty on this same problem? i have gears, catback, x pipe, and a speedo cal. it shifts rough into third when it's not warmed up and want to get it looked at.

I was wondering the same thing, the speed-cal is what worries me, since it fugs with the computer/odometer
