Hey jdaniel, just a little update #5 and #8 cylinders have ZERO compression. You can bump the motor and the pistons stay put inside the cylinder walls. We pushed down on the top of the pistons and were able to push them all the way down with little pressure. Can you say, a couple of broken connecting rods? Will be really interesting on how the cylinder walls look after the motor is out.

Im basically doing the same thing, except i have aluminum block w/ forged internals except crank and will prob run a 125shot and maybe later on running a really low boost blower due to the raised compression.

The old motor will be sold, either short block or long block form.
