My Reg. runs out in March and NY state law that you must have an inspection done within past 12 months before you can renew registartion. My inspection runs out this month and I need to take it off the road. Well, I keep the plates, but pull coverage (state farm call sit "withdrawn from use")
I had a problem with the light coming on from my engine swap. The secondary air injection isn't hooked up, so my programmer removed the sode, however it looks like he removed any and all emissions codes from turning the engine light on? I checked the I/M monitors in my handheld Actron from Advance and it sayd for all the emissions and EGR stuff Not Applicable!..WTF..Suppose to say ready. The overall status reads PASS. Does anyone know if I'm screwed?
I know I have to hook into OBD-II DMV website and they scan my computer, but will this fail me or just fool them? Thanks

Pretty sure this will fail you. You need to get some miles on the car and check again. These sensors come up as not ready to prevent you from just resetting the ECU before inspection.

theoverall i/m monitors says PASS because all the codes are turned off! I have to call the guy and see what's up, usually they fail you if 2 Not Ready's show up. My car won't show any cuz they have been turned off? I don't know what to think.
