hmm kinda worried about taking the panel off but i guess if wd40 doesnt do it for a while ill take it off. What about just replacing the weatherstripping?
Well, granted I haven't been in my passenger seat since I rode with the guy that I bought it from to see, but I don't think it's from the weather stripping. Window creaks are usually from the motor/gears. If that's not the case here then nothing I've said applies. [8D]

Yeah, that's probably not the best place for something like lubriplate like I was mentioning earlier then. I can damn near promise you that it wont ever squeak again, but it's probably going to be pretty messy unless you're careful. I know I put my hand right about there when the window is down and I wouldn't want to get grease all over my finger every time I did. Let me look into that piece because I bet you can fab up a new piece to replace that rubber bit that's got a softer cloth that will slide easier and not make noise. (Haha, you and I are in OT enough to know this thread would be a goldmine over there with all this talk about lube and sliding easier)

Well it seems like it only makes this noise when the driver side window is rolled up. doesnt even have to be all the way. I only tested it with the rear triangle window thing up to. so maybe its the window moving around or something. I dont know but its kinda loud and annoying

sadly enough I am in the same boat as everyone else. But yeah lube is your answer. I have noticed it doesnt do it as much when it is wet.
