Default Exhaust setup

I'm trying to figure out what exhaust setup to put on my 2000 GT. So far, I really like the sound of the Magnaflow cat-back. With that in mind, what headers and H-pipeor X-Pipe (wichevermakes the deepest sound not the loudest)should I look in to?

Sound tone is really what matters most for me. I don't want anything too loud but I'd like the deepest tone possible. As for power gains, will I actually feel a difference if I do the whole exhaust vs just the cat-back? I don't go to the track very often so 0.05 seconds off the quarter mile is not a big deal for me. What do you guys suggest?

I've got a BBK X-Pipe and a Magnaflow cat-back on my Cobra ... I did see a decent power increase, especially up in the high end. Here's what that set up sounds like (my buddy has an 04 gt with the same set up, sounds nearly identical):http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoID=14660225if that doesnt help, sorry, just thought I'd throw it out there.

Default RE: Exhaust setup

I just gutted my entire exhaust system from the headers to the catbacks. I had BBK LT to a MAC Off-Road Xpipe to Mac Pro Dumps. But since inspection time came and I wanted something different I went with...

BBK Headers Shorties
Pypes Catted X-pipe
Pypes Catback 3"

I had to get new headers because my old LT has the flanged torched off so they would fit my Mac Xpipe. I know crappy work at its finest . I got shorties because I'm trying to save as much money as possible seeing how my car will never see the track and I'm trying to keep it as a daily driver.
