how many horses
this is a question that has been bugging me, i wondered if u guys can help me.
i have a 96 gt, and i have bbk long tubes, flowmaster h-pipe and mufflers, steeda cold air, FRPP 70mm t.b. my future mods are msd ignition, superchip, steeda u/d pullies, advanced timing, and 3.73 gears. im hopin to hit low 300's rwhp. will this do it? if not, any other suggestions?

The 96 GT came stock with185 rwhp, add wear and tear for the last 9 years and your around180rwhp. Your mods together are worth around 30 or so rwhp together, so that would put you around 210 rwhp. Add 5 for ud pullies, 8 for the chip / timing, and 1 for the msd and none for the gears. After all your current plus planned mods you should be in the neighborhood of 224 rwhp.</P>
If you wanna hit 300's you will need a set of heads and a cam, with those and some tuning you couldget close... unless you have an automatic that is then your gonna hafta try even harder.</P><edited><editID>mdvaldosta</editID><editDate>37887.8892476852</editDate></edited>

I'm thinking you might be close, but not quite those numbers. I'm thinking somewhere around 260-280...???This is just a total guess from what I know, I could easily be wrong. Have it dynoed to find out for sure.

I agree w/everything up there cept I think he'd be good for between 3-5hp w/the MSD Stacker. Either way...you should get a dyno tune to get the most from your car's mods.</P>

Oh yeah, switch all your fluids to synthetic!!! People see incredible gains just from doing so...10hp+ with a modified car!!</P>
