Default Brake Pads

Hey guys... its time for me to do brake pads and i am just looking for the best option. What kind of pads do you guys use and like?

i need to change my rear brake pads, i still have my stock rotors and stock fronts....is it cool to use hawks for the back even though i still got stock upfront? 2004 mustang gt

yea its fine, have fun with the rears, its a PITA, FYI the rear pistons are not compressed, they screw in

Grab a brake tool from an autoparts store there only like 10 bucks it will help alot!!

The only tool that will help alot is inbetween your elbow and shoulder

I was told Hawk pads really only work well when their paired with a good set of rotors. My Hawk HPS pads and iRotors will stop my car in a heart beat. Their slotted and cross-drilled, but you only really need that if you race it. Its mainly for looks.

barely touch the stock brakes at 140+ and they are toast. Thats why I have slotted and drilled rotors. I only used the hawk since I have had the slotted and drilled rotors
