Problem with alignment
My car is a 2002 gt with an eibach pro kit and stock shocks / struts. the pro kit was installed by the previous owner. I bought and installed MM's cc 4bolt plates. When I got my alignment the mechanic said that the passenger side wheel still had negative camber even with the cc plates butthe drivers side was perfect. How can this be possible could something like a lower control arm be bent on the passenger side?
You can change the top plates to get more adjustment of the camber setting.
The alignment guy did the same thing to my MM CC plates but they got the aligment set right,it's just at the limit of adjustment.I'm going to flip the plates the next time I have an alignment done.

According to the instructions I have the bearing plates in the "positive orientation". I believe that setup will give me the most positive camber available.
and like i said above i was able to achieve good alignment on the driver's side. just really strange[>:]

How much is "some" negative camber? The spec is for -0.50° +/- 0.75°, for a range of 0.25° to -1.25°; I have nine set to -1.0° as this sharpens up the steering a bit (less understeer)...
those camber plates can only fix so much, my buddy has some HR lowering springs, bought BBK Gripps caster camber plates and the alignment specialist could only do so much. A little bet of negative camber is ok, you actually want a little negative camber, but like cliffy k said, how much?
