Well he also has 275/40/17's on the front and he said he never scrubs. Personally I would leave the 245's on the front because you want less rolling friction up there and the bigger the footprint the more friction.

Im not sure if the rims up front are 9" or 8" rims. I do know he has 275's up there... so reguardless, the tire is still the same size and the tire would rub before the rim would.

These are 17x9's in the front with 245/45/17 and 17x10.5's in the rear with 315/35/17 Nittos.
Just to give you an idea of how it looks, no rubs at all.
Might I suggest staying with 315's in the rear instead of 335's it will keep your speedo and odo correct because it has the same diameter as the stock tires. 335’s are less than an inch wider than 315’s but almost an inch taller, no one walking past your car or riding behind you could ever tell the difference between a 315 and 335 so you I think you should just keep your speedo and odo accurate....but it's your car, do with it as you wish

I am thinking of doing some small apperance mods to my car this summer. I was thinking along the lines of the standard Mach 1 Grill delete, tint on the windows. and the front spoiler.
I was also thinking about getting my rear spoiler painted black. Has anyone ever doen this, or have a picture? I am unsure what it will look like with the windows tinted (im getting them pretty dark) and am afraid there will be to much black on the car?
Also, I really love the mach 1 rims, and found a spot with chrome mach 1 rims in 17x9 and 17.10.5 for like 150-180 bucks. I am assuming you can run 17x10.5s on the car with no problems?? Will it look right, or will they stick out? Also, will the bigger rims really yeild better performance (with bigger tires etc) or is it to much of a pain for no gain?
Any comments are welcome.

Is the spoiler on the mach 1s more of a flat black or a gloss black? I am thinking a flat black to match the front spoiler?
Also, I was only able to get ahold of one guy yesterday, but I was getting quoted 250 (!) bucks for repainting the spoiler????? If thats the case, I will make the trip home and do it myself in our shop with no paintbooth. I cannot see 250 bucks to paint a spoiler that is off of the car, jeez all ya have to do is sand and paint it right???

I'd go
Midnight Black Paint job , Lemo Black tent on the back windows and then go light on the front windows , then Double White Race stripe down the middle of Your car with White 5 point Rims ,
then ta be a lil more original , put a light kit under your car red or some color that you like ...

This is just something to do to make the car look a little better and tide me over till the new house is bought and settled into and I can get my ATI
