because um... yea why the **** would i throw 5th racing? cant spray 5th

i said it topped out at 112 in forth.... 5th... gets up just fine

You're not going to notice a huge gain at the track with lower gears unless you add tires as well to take advantage of them.

When picking gears, consider what RPM you can live with on the highway.

With 4.10s in a T3650 90mph = 3000rpms in 5th
With 3.73s in a T45 90mph = 3000rpms in5th

I Actually had 4.10s, then switched to 3.73s.. I like them better as I commute twice a week at 80ish mph.

With a supercharged car, 4.10s make 1st gear useless without slicks. Even with 3.73s they'll spin bad. I can pull out some where in 2nd and stomp it at lower rpms. As it starts building boost at roughly 3500ish or so it'll start breaking the tires loose. It's a fun feeling, but can partially be blamed on me having crappy sumitomo tires. It's hard to beat 100 per tire tho.

Yeah autos only have 4......but i usually turn my OD off when gunna get on it real hard
