so I have to replace the collector gasket with my o/r x-pipe since I hve a nice exhaust leak. I have let it go long enough that I finally threw a check engine light. If I just dissconnect the battery will it clear out the code?

sweet - thanks for the fast reply

this will be my first time messing with the mid pipe _ i had the shop put it in - im not thinking the bolts will be too hard as I just had my SPEC clutch put in about a week and a half ago so the bolts shouldnt be too tight.

anyhitng I should look out for when replacing the gasket?? any tips (such as not having to take out the entire mid pipe) anyhelp would be appreciated

thanks again

just make sure you watch the passenger side gasket, especially if you have stock headers. It is a pia to keep it just right and get it up in there. I hate to say it, but the whole midpipe is going to have to come out. just pay special attention to the passenger side. Curse at it alot lol
