You can get it off by hand, buy it's hard. What kind of gun isn't strong enough? What psi is your compressor putting out?

Just put the car in gear and have him stand on the breaks while you break it loose with a pry bar.

An old trick that I don't really recommend (but I've done it and it works) is to put a long breaker bar on the crank bolt, let the breaker bar handle contact the floor (or a suitably high substantial block) on the drivers side and hit the starter--something will let go and usually it's the crank bolt...Note: If you or any of your team, or your car, areinjured or otherwisedamaged during this activityI will disavow any knowledge of the mission...

WOOoooooo ....

The crank pulley is pressed on.

You can take the bolt off with a wrench or somethin but the pulley is not going to slide off if it does something is wrong.

There are crank pully "pullers" you can buy. You can also make a down payment on them at advance auto parts and get a full refund when you bring them back, its their loaner tool program.

There are 3 small threaded holes in the crank pulley, the pulley puller has 3 bolts that thread into the 3 holes, then it has a little thing that sits in the crank and a bolt that pushes against it to push the pulley off.

There is no other way of getting this off without taking a chance on breaking something..

we got it off a while ago, used a breaker bar over the ratchet, and used another one with the harmonic balancer puller, to keep it steady. came right off.

Now we just gotta get it back ON. After puttin the other stuff on first of course.

Nah we had to strip the engine down to take out the head for a helicoil. Now that thats all taken care of, we have to start cleanin stuff and reassembling lol.

Like, 200 ****ing dollars in gaskets and bolts... Head gasket, valve cover gasket, intake manifold gasket, plenum gasket, timing cover gasket, and head bolts.
