my question is does bassani make seperate exhausts for maunauls and autos......If they do if i bought a manual exhaust could i switch it ti fit my auto....Also do i have to have headers with a bassani exhaust system????

And my answer is the bassani midpipe and catback will bolt on to any mustang (it doesnt matter transmission). It sounds like you were not even considering headers but in case you were here you go (no you dont NEED them). Headers are the only thing that matters when it comes to transmission type on the exhaust. Shorty headers will fit fine w/ any transmission and will net you minimal gains over the stock, while longtube headers make more gains then shorties they generally are not made for autos (I think a company may make them though) because of the larger tranny box. Also LTs require a shorter midpipe.

PS: Im a auto w/ LTs, Ihad my tranny box alteredto fit them.
