Not to sure about the tranny but you can not use the computer. It is gonna be a pain of a swap. Would be easier to swap in a 4v motor
Why do you say that?
Alot less you would have to change. Plus it would be cheaper.

well not neceassirly on the motor itself.. 3v 5.4's are cheap....

what if i just swapped 3v heads?

3v heads will not go on a 2 or 4v block. Different passages. Sorry man but a 3v swap is just a bad idea you need to change to much and would cost to much for a little power gain. I beat 3v mustangs all the time. I beat my buddy that has intake, tune, full exhaust and 4.30 gears. 4v is a much better way to go and is cheaper.

Well I can agree that the 3v might be more of a hassle and not worth it.. but its pretty consistent that the new 3v is better than the 4v... I like them because they are more simple and reliable design... but that sucks about the passages... its just that timing equipment is so fkn hard to find for 4v heads! [&o]
