i thought about the same thing for me... i was going to put a switch on the dash some where to arm it manually once i get in 2nd gear.. that way its totally off till i arm it.. then let the WOT switch and the window switch take over from there

Why would you wanna launch off the line with it? The reason it comes on with the window is so that your already in motion and you will have less tire spin. I would keep it right at 2600. Thats a good rpm for it to kick in at because you just about into your powerband and you really wont have to worry about breaking loose.

im getting the same thing soon ....i launch at about 2000 RPM, 2600 would be a little early dont you think... and at the track launching at 2600+ is no problem

Do yourself a favor and put a 3000rpm pill in your window switch. Then, launch your car at 4000-4500 rpms, keep your gas pedal at the same level as when you launch, if you hook up mash it to the floor and shift, if you spin a little, wait until you hook up, mash it and shift.

I had a 2600 rpms pill and really blew the tires off. I changed to a 3000rpm pill and it really helped. Hope this helps you a little.
