Just got back from the dyno place and the results were not nearly as high as I thought they would be. Mods are listed in sig results were 243 rwhp - 284 rwtq. Before P&P PI heads/cams, PI intake, and shortie headers I made 212 rwhp - 284 rwtq. SOTP meter it feels alot stronger up top, definetely can feel a big improvment in the higher RPM's. Only thing left now is to take it to the track. Anybody know why the #'s are so low?



Mods: Port and Polished PI heads/cams, PI intake, FRPP shortie headers, densecharger, MAC O/R H-pipe, flowmaster catback, Superchip, Steeda Tri-Ax, King Cobra Clutch

I would think you'd be WAY higher than that.

You're making the same HP as a 99+ w/ just exhaust.

on a manual??? WOW, does seem pretty weak, sucks dude! I thought the PI heads/intake were worth more rwhp than that!

Most 99+ GT's stock are putting down between 220-225 rwhp, I thought with the bolt-ons and P&P I would be making at least 250 rwhp.

Maybe it's a bad P&P job. If it's not done right you can actually hurt your performance due to several factors such as the A/F mixture not atomizing optimally.

Did the guy operating the dyno know what he was doing? Did he do the reading in second or third gear??? Something isnt right. You should be making somewhere between 280-300 rwhp I would think.

I did 3 or 4 pulls. One time he had me go through gears and take it up to around 4000 rpms 1-4 gear and just kind slowly let it down. I dont think I should be quite that high because the aftermarket cams make a huge difference over the stock PI cams.

about 20 rwhp... So you should be between 260-280
