if your running the 13" brembo like cobra brakes, lomandi brake pads are really nice (kevlar metallic, canadian based), ebc yellow stuff (that **** stops on a dime). the lomandi costs about $50 for all fronts and all rear and can be found on ebay. yellow stuff not sure of price but i just put a set on my friends car (im running hawk hps) even without his re-doing rotors, with his stock 13" brembo it hurt quite a bit when he slammed on brakes and seat belt left me sore until next day.

Full ceramic, non-ferrous are the best (Pep-Boys has a nice ceramic/nF product, Raybestos Quiet-Stop also), most of the premium aftermarket pads are great but bring your wallet as they can cost 2x to 4x more than those I mentioned above.Stay away from any semi-metallic pad that a magnet will stick to (the pad, not the backing plateof course), they are loaded up with iron powder and are the filthiest pieces "OS" that you can possibly use...

Bullet brake upgrade kit FTW! less than 400 bucks for 13 inch rotors, pads, and new calipers.

Ouch dude that sux. I can only imagine the noise that made...lol. I put Roto-tech cross drilled rotors from Jegswith Certified Pro ceramic brakes on a little over a year ago and they've been pretty good so far. I'd buy them again.

first of all DO NOT buy rotors from autozone they warp very easily and also if u use the lifetime pads they are a lot harder and ruin your rotors quicker, so u have to buy rotors more often and then when they are scored and the pad is scored and then u put the new rotor on and it gets scored from the bad pad autozone will not replace the pads for u if this happens they must like seperate from the backing or get worn way down.. its a big hassle go buy some d/s rotors about 50 bucks each and put some hawk pads on.

Sh** happens man, could have been a lot worse. I am using Brembo rotors and Motorcraft pads. No complaints here, good quality stuff. I would definatley stay away from Autozone or any chain auto parts store cheap-o pads. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Mom was rushing me and my dad once, we each took a side of ym truck, he put the pad on backwards on his side, ugh it was nasty, but we were able to have the rotors returned. on a lathe or something. But nowadays most rotors are made to be replaced I think. Try car quest, they might be able to fix them for a decent price.
