Unless you just like to spend alot of extra money... just sell the mach and buy you a cobra. Thats the easiest, cheapest, and less frustrating answer I can give you. If you try to change it out... it will be a very ENORMOUS job on your hands.

I'mgoing to have to agree with everyone else on here. Sell the Mach and get a Cobra. You want a Cobra, so sell your car to someone that WANTS a Mach 1. Those cars are unique and don't come out all that often. If you were to mod it, I'd put a Super Charger on there and some suspension/drivetrain mods; but not the body. That car is beautiful, keep it that way
Oh, and if you want to spend money, go with the KB. I want one of those SOOOOO bad, but they cost as much as I paid for my car

Rare cars like the Mach 1 will eventually become collector items and increase in value. I agree with the majority here. Please don't turn it into a Cobra replica. (It will never be an original Cobra and could never be sold as an originalCobra.) If you do modify the car keep the original parts. The car's value increases greatly if all of the numbers match and the next owner may want them.
Unlike others who own original Cobras, I believe that if you want a Cobra replica then buy a GTthen put a supercharger and body kit on it.If you want it to look like an original Cobra you'll have to do all of the internal mods as well such as seats,steering wheel, etc. I really don't know why you would do this to a perfectly good car though. You'll have more money in yhe GT than you would buying the Cobra outright.
If you want a Cobra then the most cost effective way to get one is to sell the Mach and buy a Cobra.
