GT03 TJS

Ok so 95% of what I've done to my car has been performance related, other than the rims and stainless steel "Mustang" cut-outs.... my car is done for the winter, so now i'm going to be saving up my holiday overtime from work and throwing some more goodies in her this spring.

One of the things I'm thinking about is a possible replacement for the stock seats....2003 GT premium, black leather, great condition....They're comfortable for easy driving and look great, but when I get a little spirited (driving around a curve quickly), with no side or hip boltsers, I kinda get tossed around side to side....slidin on that nice black leather. Also dont like the fact that the headrests are probably the worst designed ever.

That being said, I seem to have a hard time finding new seats that arent full blown racing seats in ricer red, yellow or blue. I'm kinda looking for that OEM black/charcol look, but with more side and head support. I was thinking seats out of 05+ GTs have more head support, but I dont know about side support....and I dont know if they would bolt up. Somewhere on the net I saw someone put in seats from a dodge viper in their stang.....looked pretty badass...

Does anyone else feel my pain? And can anyone point me in the right direction?

I know exactly what you mean with the stockers, I slide all around. Your best bet is to go with some 03/04 Cobra seats. They look factory but have that side support and they're friggin sweet looking.

.....i know this sounds stupid......and its a tiny little detail......but do you think they make 03/04 replica seats without the cobra emblem? hahaha

maybe im being too ****, but i'm proud i'm a 2V....those are pretty sweet though....

why not do what im doing eventually.... 50resto has some corbeau racing seats that, IMO, look like the cobras somewhat but dont have the cobra emblem....just get the black ones with the gray microsuede...kinda expensive though

I just did a quick search "Leather Racing Seats" on Google and came up with a lot of options. One that looks quality that I liked was from an import site but who cares. http://www.streetimports.com/product_details.asp?id=369

And thats $600 for a pair not each!

You could get them used, but people try to sell them for alot of money. You will probably pay the same amount for a set of used Cobra's as you would for a set of new Corbeau's.

I have the Corbeau Forza Microseude seats, there amazing i love em, only run about 250 a seat
