To the OP, you buy different parts to customize the sound you want. You get MAC LT headers because the shorties don't sound as loud, you get the Prochamber H instead of the regular H because of the deep rumble. You get the SLP LMII because of the deep sound where as the LM 1 is more raspy (I think). It's all a matter of personal preferance.

To anyone else: Do you know the legality as far as exhaust goes? I live in NC and emissions are not too strict, but I can't run O/R X pipes like I want to. I have the MAC LTs which I know are going to be a problem, but what can I buy with a good, deep rumble AND has cats? I am pretty set on LM II's for the catback, but I'm stuck on the midpipe.

thats exactly why ppl use different parts and sometimes the fund arent just there to matchso they go with something cheaper.

I live in NC and I went a long time with an O/R midpipe and never got pulled over for it. Just be calm around cops and they won't do a thing. I also paid someone to pass me for inspection, so there are ways around the legality of an O/R midpipe in NC.
