04 cobra drivetrain
i have the chance to buy a 04 cobra engine, transmission, driveshaft, fuel system, intercooler, fan and radiator, gauge cluster, computer and full wiring harness with 13000 miles on itfor $9500 shipped to my door. does this sound like a good deal or should i pass?

omg... hell no ... are you on crack? thats a used engine... a good used complete cobra setup is worth 4-5k you can do alot with 9k my friend, i guess it depends on your goals, but i could not see paying more than 6k at the very most

it depends on what car you own now. If I were you and had $9,500 to spend, i'd sell my car (i take it you have a 4.6 GT), and use the extra money off that and the $9500 to buy a real cobra, may not be enough for a 03/04 cobra, but you'd still be able to get a nice 96-98easy, and 99-01 cobra(with maybe a little extra cash)

it comes with engine and tranny with everything on it including supercharger complete computer and wiring harness, gauge cluster, fuel tank pump and lines, intercooler, radiator and fans, and stock aluminum driveshaft. im swappin it into a 89 lx coupe. i did the math and this is cheaper than a quality stroker and tko 600 along with all the other stuff.
