Default LT Header Gaskets?

i bought some longtube headers from someone last weekend and i was gonna throw them on tomorrow with the assistance of a few friends. but i dont know what to do about the exhaust manifold gaskets. went to o-reillys and they had some gaskets for stock manifolds but they dont look like they will work. they dont look to fit right and they hang a bit over the "hole" so its gonna burn em up. do you just use stock gaskets or do i have to get some different ones? i was told these were mac's but theres a possibility they arent.

Call Summit and order some header gaskets. The stock gaskets won't work.

i would say get some that you are sure will match up. dont wanna be in there again for a damned leak. Mine came with gaskets, but i have had them off a few times and they were getting worn-- used high heat permatex (i think that was brand) to help out and i have not had any issues since.

Percy's won't burn out. Get some stage 8 locking header bolts to go with the gaskets. I've got an extra set of percy's gaskets if you want to make a deal.

I reused the stock gaskets and they worked fine. I now have ford racing gaskets in.
