thanks casper. One of the ford dealers here says there's nothing wrong with my tranny, I'll try another one and give him a copy of this and see if they will do it.

lol. dont let them test drive by themselves because if they do they dont HAVE to hear it. Take THEM for a test drive and say See. Then pull over and have them drive it back. Then they know what youre talking about and then tell them there is a TSB for it!!

If you give them your VIN number then they will look it up and tell you if you fall under the TSB. Thats what I did and they are SUPPOSE to do it all on Monday.

How long will it take, well. I can do one in about 4 1/2 hours. Seems it takes other people MUCH longer. Like 5-6 days. Good luck!

Yeap, they did.
I have LT headers but they said they can work around that. Im thinking it will take them the better part of a week to do it. The longer it takes the more money the get. LOL

so when my 04 GT is cold its NOT supposed to be notchy?? Or is it. Im confused. I thought that when its cold is is notchy than when it warms up is ok. Isnt that the way it is supposed to be. If this TSB fixes the cold performance of the tranny, than I would do it in a heart beat.

Well I fall under the TSB reguardless... Mine has always been notchy when cold but that never really bothered me because I always let the car warm up before I start slamming gears. My thirg gear synchros are gone and thats why im doing it.

lol. Jdan... Youre third gear syncros are gone because you cant drive...
No j/k. Jiggy.... You can have it done. Its night and day difference when its done. I test drove a guys 02 GT and it was pretty hard getting it into gears i test drove it and on the way back it got better. Put the TSB parts in it and then put it outside and told the guy he couldnt have it yet. Next morning i test drove it and it went very smoothly.
JD, LTH are a pain in the *** just GETTING IN... I wouldnt wanna be the guy who did this. Actually if someone came in i would make them pay more just so i had extra time to remove the headers.

Well im assuming they work on an hourly wage when the warranty is covering the work. It always takes forever for them to fix something for me when its warranty work. [&:]
