Default Focus Fuel Pump ?'s

I work at a parts store (Advance)and I am getting a SVT focus fuel pump through there, but I have a few questions. I was wanting to make sure that I only need the actual electric fuel pump, and not the whole assembly. I believe I remember reading the pump drops in the stock GTassembly.

Also, I found out that there was some sort of change mid-year in 2002 on the SVT focus fuel pumps, and I was wondering if anyone knew if it mattered or not which one I got. I assume they are both still 255 lph or whatever, but there has to be some sort of difference, because one is $64 and the other is $130! If anyone knows the difference, then let me know.

Here is a link to what I am talking about :http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...hfor=Fuel+Pump

thanks for any help

don't know about the changes but as long as its this PN then your good to go. you only need the actual pump then just drop it into the basket already in the tank. normally they run 100-130 $

^^^ No, you only need to switch when you add f/i or get well into the 300's rwhp-wise (basically adding f/i on a 2V [8D]).

Ok, thanks guys, I'll see if I can cross reference the numbers, and I'll make sure it has a green top.
