Default Tb and plenum

I just ordered a 70mm profressional pruducts throttlebody and plenum for my 96 gt. This will work with stock MAF right? Pretty sure it will but would just like to know for sure.

It will work fine. If it's possible though, I highly recommend changing it for a 75mm TB. They are the same price and are worth a couple hp over the 70mm even on stock applications.

the guy at brothers performance said to use 70 cuz 75 would cost me some lowend torgue. I got a steal on a 3in catback so I used it and it raped my lowend. Even with the 4:10 geares it wont spin the tires. The last thing I want to do is lose more lowend. However the car has crazy high rpm hp with the 3in catback. You can really feel the diference high rpm. Dont know if the guy from brothers was right or not. I was gonna get the 75 but he talked me into the 70.

He's right. In a n/a setup, at or near WOT, the charge velocity drops off at lower (2000 to 3500 rpm) engine speedswitha 75mm TB. This isgenerally known among competent tuners, but flies in the face of the usual "bigger is better" conventional wisdom.Accufab's flow data (click here. 1/2 way down the page) shows that the 75 mm TB addslittle to nothing, even with their very capable plenum...

On a N/A it doesn't matter but if you plan on going the F/I route I would go ahead and get the 75mm. In this case the "bigger is better" does apply here.

F/I is going to cost $3500 to $6000+, get the 70 now and get a 75 if and when you go F/I--it will raise the cost of your forced induction package by a whopping $125
