Default polishing crankshaft

i was wondering what it usually costs to get a crankshaft polished. my engine spun a bearing and im rebuilding it and i am planning on using the same crankshaft.

I more than likely wouldn't but some people do. To me it depend on why you have it apart in the first place. If it was due to failure of the bottom end, I may if not then, no.

If you spun a bearing then you'll probably have to get it turned. Just polishing won't get the grooves out that spun bearings leave most of the time. The machine shop will be able to tell you if you need it turned or just polished though.
