Default Mach 1 engine into a GT

I'm looking at getting a Mach 1 engine to put in my GT. What (if any) extra items/steps do I need to make this work? Do I need to replace my computer, anything about the intake seeing as the Mach has a scoop, etc...?

Thanks,

Chuck

why replace a 260hp v8 with hypereutectic components to a 305hp (315?) v8 with hypereutectic components? you would do much better with a forged 2v and a supercharger

Honestly if you have a question like this then you need to pay someone to do this for you. Search button FTW.

U can buy a complete Mach 1 motor and just drop it in.You don't need a PCM OR harness. Just have it Dyno tuned and manifolds/headers to match your mid-pipe. It's not a difficult task. Just cost some money to get the 4v engine. It would probably cost about the same to forge your 2v and do F/I. It's just personal preference as to which way to go. Both are worth it if you are looking for more horses. The Mach intake isn't neccesary unless you just want one. It does'nt do anything performance wise other thangetting some colder air in there. I would'nt worry about it, but I'm not really into the fake Mach or fake SVT thing.
