Default Need help!

Hey guys, i just recently installed an o/r x on my gt and now my cars throwing out a 02 sensor code(expected) anda p1151 code or something like that... The guy at autozone said it was a delarship code and all he could tell me was that it said some about the a/f management... So basically my question is could my new o/r x be messing up my engine and cause a problem? Yes i know, kinda a noob question! Sorry!

i dont think its the egr cuz when i put on my prochamber from mac it tripped the same codes and i ordered the mil emliminators and it turned the check engine light off....im not sure if it will work for you so dont go right out and buy them...do a lil research on them first and see what it says..

understandable....best thing to do in my opinion would be to bring it to a local shop and have them look at it...you dont want to be replacing things that dont need it ya know...or hopefully someone will be able to help you on here

allright well theres your problem. you HAVE to get mil eliminators with an off road pipe (it probably even tells you on the description on the webpage you bought it from). you can use a handheld tuner to turn the rear o2 sensors off also (if you got one)but thats why your cars screwed up. if you know how to solder theres a post around here to buy some resistors for 5 bucks and solder them in yourself. i dont know how well this works or the longevity of it but with an OR pipe (or even some high flow cats) you gotta have elims because your rear 02 sensors are there to detect if your cats are working properly and guess what happens if you dont have cats? your car thinks they arent working so it starts screwing with your car.

oh once you put them in you gotta disconnect your battery for a couple minutes to clear the code then it should be fine
