Default got 1/4 mile times sunday

budds creek in maryland sucked a$$ this weekend. i ended up running a 12.4@117mph. with a 2.1 60ft. and i got a 13.2@106mph with a 2.0 60ft. i spun my a$$ off. tracked wasnt prepped. i was runnin with 17 inch nitto drag radials. i just ordered a set of the new bfg drag radials to try next weekend.

deff your 60' times. your trapping well so your driving isn't bad once you get out of the hole. what kind of burnouts were you doing? you seem to have been stuck consistently in the 2.0-2.1 range. were there other cars on drag radials and slicks etc pulling bad times? if the track is badly prepped, i doubt you'd be getting consistent times, regardless if they were 1.7 or 2.5's.

track sucked because they just resurfaced it. also, it was cold and nobody hooked. so it wasnt just me. but i got new tires to try them out

well you got all year. i'm sure as it warms up and you get some miles on those tires and some seat time, you'll get some better times this year.

yea i went this weekend and my 60ft was better but my time was worse. i dont know what happend. i did manage to pull a 12.3 on the juice with a 1.89 60ft. but i know my 60ft should go down more when i learn how to launch on my new tires.

trapping 115 mph+ you should be in the high 11's, even wit a 1.89 60'ft. wierd. keep practicing, you'll get it.
