I am going to buy basically a brand new supercharger 1,000 miles on it. V2 and aftercooler, 38 lbs injectors, all hardware, etc for 3 grand. Without cooler it is 2500 is this a good deal? Only thing I will need is a fuel pump. On a stock '04 GT he said it made 380 plus. He mentioned to me with a good tune I should see 400 RWP w/ my mods. The guy is local so I will see everything first.

Any comments before I pull the plug.

 

Nope. If the head unit is in good shape, do it. Throw in a focus pump, tune and a bigger MAF and you are ready to roll

 

What kind of power do you think I will make with a good tune? It is V2 aftercooler kit so I have to more battery to the trunk. What is the most boost I should run 10 PSI?

 

Just make sure you check it out REAL good. What's his reason for ditching it after 1000 miles?

 

He owns a performance shop and his customer older guy is selling his car and he is parting out the supercharger and some other goodies. The guy got two tickets and wanted to get rid of the car before he loses his license. It appears to be legit and I will look at the unit to ensure on play in blower.
