BBK and MAC pretty much go hand in hand. I have MAC ceramic LTs and I love them. Fitment is awesome and price is good too. You can probably get those and an X pipe for a decent amount under $800...

+1 on the fitment of the Mac's... for the price (got mine for 329.99 shipped) they are great and tuck in very well.

you will need the 02 extensions for the 02 in the collectors. and MIl eliminators for the rear 02s. I have BBK with a 2" drop and I have no problems with dragging or scraping or anything. I still have at least 3.5" of ground clearance(thats how tall the pit is at work).

You want cheap?

$589.00 for BBk LTs and off road pipe from THR. Its chrome, but I am sure if you go to THR they will give you a 100 increase in price for the ceramics

Without stealing this thread, what factor do you use in determining whether to by shorty headers or long tube headers? What does one provide over the other?

Thanks in advance.

I don't get why this comes up every so often... how are LTs not a good return?

On a 2v they are the biggest number gain for any single part boltons wise, and for a 4v I have to think it would be similar. Sure, they are 600 bucks, but without them on a 2v your looking at a 245ish WHP car at best (boltons).

I don't care how much of a gain you get. Just the fact that it's a bitch job that is a pain the *** makes it not worth it. I've had to put my headers on twice and I'd rather do anything than that job again. Your talking about 7 hours of work, lots of cursing and some blood. good luck....

I had an off road H-pipe on my car with the stock manifolds. After I got the LTs installed I drove around for 3 days open headers then I tried to custom cut my mid-pipe to fit on the LTs. I couldn't believe it but it worked. I had to go to an exhaust shop to get to flanges made to fit over the ball of the LTs and get some pipe expanded to fit into other pipes. After I got everything together I took it to the exhaust shop and got them to weld the connections for me. Total cost of mid-pipe mod was $20 for 4 welds (guys up there knew me) and 16 bucks to get the 2 flanges made.

to my understanding, LTs pull more exhaust away, allowing more clean air in....more clean air to burn.

on the flip side, to some, exhaust is more apersonal preferenceof sound
