Default Springs

Im looking to get some lowering springs. Probably the Ford Racing ones, because I dont have a huge budget for it. Are these hard to install yourself, or should I have a shop do it? and if a s hop does do it how much money am i looking at paying?
thanks

It really depends on how much you know about working on cars... Its not hard at all if you have any clue what youre doing. Just look at a write up on installing springs and if you dont understand what its talking about then you probably need to have a shop do it. A shop is gonna be somewhere in the range of 200$ I would suggest doing it yourself if you could.

Spring installs are really easy. If you follow the instructions its hard to mess up... so long as you bolt everything back into the same location and don't break any bolts etc there really isn't much of a way to screw anything up. Pretty much nothing will go on in the wrong direction etc... the only thing to watch is make sure you check out which way the end ofthe spring is pointing and put the new ones the same way.

I just lowered mine with eibach sportlines and it is incredible... It gets rid of that horrible 4x4 gap and the handling is actually decent now. I love it.

When you do the install make sure you take the springs out very slowly with a jack, you do not want that spring uncompressing and flying towards you. You can imagine what it'll do to ya.
