sometimes if you dont want to remove them you can just flip them and gain almost another inch of clearance
Are you talking about flipping them end for end? Or something else?

why do that when you can get rid of them by getting a new lca which will help your launch anyway?

i installed tubular aftermarket upper and lower control arms on my 97 GT and i still needed the quad shocks for sure.
+1.

I ran with my new upper and lower tubulars with the quads still on. Then i tried to take them off and got wheel hop and axle wrap even with the tubulars so i put the quads back on and now i dont have any problems. If you're making any kind of power i'd leave them on.

I don't have mine anymore and haven't had a problem with wheel hop. If you get control arms with polyurethane bushings you shouldn't have a problem.

I've sat in a tt'd 2v(complete griggs setup) torque arm w/ panhard bar and there was absolutely no wheelhop from a dig or roll, even soming out of corners where stress is on 1 wheel.

It's all in your setup, I will say that aftermarket uca's suck, but it'll be another big debate that I no longer feel talkin about..
