ahh I was thinking of my truck when I put 3" I knew 2.5" was the biggest [:-]

Now how about the muffler do I need centered outlets or offset?

Any other muffler you guys recommend over a 1 chamber imco. If you dont know what the IMCO is its basically the samething as a 1 chamber flow

I want them cause I can get them for $55 each. And I had 1 chamber flows on my 96 stang with a o/r x pipe. So I figure this will sound close, but I wont be taking the cats off on this one
They are offset on theinlet and outlet. I can only guess you like your stang LOUD with the one chambers. My buddy has one chambers. They are a bit too much for me.
Well I used to have a 96 with a custom made o/r xpipe and 1 chamber flows and I loved the sound. I didnt want to go loud with this one but I changed my mind.

What other mufflers out there are loud but offer a different tone?
I like my pypes violator mufflers. They are fully reversible straight through mufflers. If you want less flow more sound you put them in one way. If you want more flow less sound all you do is reverse them and you're good to go.

I had my exhaust ran header back by a local shop.. with 2.5 inch pipe and he built me an O/R X-pipe to throw in there.. i paid $120 dollars for the whole set up... i guess you could add another $120 for mufflers... so $240 vs over $400 for a cat back? there is really no difference... mine sounds great and performs even better
Exhaust Clips?

What do you mean not the bomb? They are the same as a flow, and if youve ever seen an IMCO aka cherry bomb they are built better IMO

i know of a place that sells new magnaflow and magnapack catback for $319 shipped. If interested PM me for details. BTW I have personally done business with them and sent many people to them, they are one of the best companies that I've dealt with.

gotcha. The magnapacks are loud as fvck but to me they sound like a$$. I went with magnaflows, to me they are deep, not too loud but when you crack down on it they get pretty loud. I had 2 chamber flows for ever but the drone was crazy. My magna flows have no drone and sound good... IMO.

here's a vid of my car with magnaflows (granted I have a built motor), you can tell they are far from quiet.

Ill have to listen when I get home I dont have sound on my work computer. But if they sound good I may change my mind.

But when you can get 2 mufflers like these IMCOsfor $110 thats hard to beat.
