You can but your just gonna be doing a shock/strut install sometime down the road bc the springs will tear up your stock shocks. when it comes to suspension your better off waiting and doing it all at once.

you can just do the springs and no c/c shocks or struts. You may not need a set of c/c's to get your car aligned correctly, but every stang is different, I recommend it tho. As for shocks/struts, don't come back in here after the spring instal and complain about the harsh ride with the stock shocks/struts, as they were not meant to be paired with aftermarket shocks/struts.

Hey man, I just installed the pro-kit on my 02 mustang and I didn't put on c/c plates or change my shocks/struts and I can't even tell a difference in ride quality. But I do think you should get an alignment when your done.

+1 on getting an alignment. I dont think you will need the C/C plates, but when you take it to get aligned they will let you know if you do or not. The shocks and struts are eventually gonna need replaced more than likely. Your ride shouldn't be that harsh. I just dropped mine with some eibach sportlines and it isnt that bad, only if i hit a really nice bump in the road. You'll be alright.

Yeah it will get rid of the 4x4 look... What size rims do you have?

How low do you want it? You might not be happy with the drop of the prokit.
I got the sportlines and I love them.

Do you have to drive over speed bumps a lot, bad roads?

an alignment is needed because the shorter and stiffer springs change the geometry of your mustangs suspension. Your going to want a new set of shocks and struts because your stock ones will eventually blow as they were not designed for the stiffer and shorter spring. Also your ride quality is mostly due to your shocks/struts as they are what stops your car from bobbing up and down and your spring from continually compressing and decompressing from a bump.

I have 18 inch rims

Im looking for springs that give the car a nice stance, im not so much as worried about performance. I thought with the 18 inch rims it should put it at a nice height ( look good ) , and not get destroyed if i hit a big bump.

Mostly flat roads, no speedbumps, and not tomany bumps
