What could be making this noise?
alright something in the passanger front suspension is making a very annoying noise. It's been doing it for months but its getting worse. It doesnt do it all the time, but most of the time. its like a loud squeeking noise when i turn the wheel or go over a bump. think of like a very noisy bed with noisy springs or a very loud rusty door. if i go out to the passanger front fender and push down on the suspension it makes the noise, but not on the drivers side. anyone know what it might be? a lot of times its REALLy loud like pulling into a gas station or something... makes me kind of embarresed.

RE: What could be making this noise?
I have this same problem on my 99 gt. I have replaced shocks, ball joints, tie rod ends, and anti roll arms. So i have it narrowed down to the spring. I was talking to one of my friends that build race cars and we came to this conclusion. The spring has worn thru the boot that it sits in and the squeeking noise is the spring grinding on the A-arm when it moves. I am lowing my car here very shortly, I can let youknow if replacingthe springs and boots curse the problem.

Boots = isolators.
