does it make a lot of difference power shifting it without letting off the gas? ive never done it because im too scared of breaking something. it seems like it would be really hard on the tranny.

I use to run my car and make it a point to prove to my friends how fast I could shift gears haha.. I was always good at it, but turns out it wasn't so good on my car..
I'd hold 1st wot untill right about the point normally shift, barely tap the clutch just enough to make things let go, ram it in 2nd as quick and hard as I could.. The clutch would be on the way back out right when it got in gear.. and the throttle never moves off the floor.
If you do it fast enough you'll hear the rpms just drop, a little bit slower and you'll gain rpms while shifting.. If your slouchy about it you'll hit the rev limter about once before the clutch is all the way back out...
I'm at school in the library now and don't have headphones so I can't hear it, but I think I hit 2nd in this video but not 3rd.. these are actually kind of slouchy
I was holding a camera with the steering wheel hand too, that slowed things down a bit

Here is kind of a funny video I put together with windows movie maker on like windows 95 er somethin haha... It was me against kev2369 with all stock 95gt + procharger .. the car didnt' run good then, but he later put a pair of GT40 heads, trickflow intake this and that and it turned into a monster.. the bottom end let go shortly after..
I think I hammer the gears pretty good in this one too.. I'll have to wait and listen to them later.. If they aren't any good I'll just make a new one.
But yea.. if you beat on your car it will break.. period
