The stockers are 2.5" I believe...

but they're slightly slash cut if I recall correctly.
SO if you are measuing them from top to bottom, then you're going at a SLIGHT diagonale *spelling*

but it wouldnt be nearly enough to send a 2.5" reading to a 4".

You either
A. Can't measure.
or
B. Don't have stock tips.

I vote B
i dont know about the 99+ cars but i do know that from 96-98 are 2.25 inch tips

4 inches is ugly get the slp double walled they look really nice. do u want your car to look like arice burnerwith pointless dual exhaust with 4 inch tips

Actually, they're 3.5" double walls and if you don't keep them cleanthey look just like plain old slash cuts. But when they are, they look great.

Yeah, I've got the borla 3.5" tips I think. Whatever comes with the catback. Either way, they've seen better days...shinyer days. Anyone have pics of Borla "intercooled" tips?

I agree completely. I regret getting 3.5s.....

I think wide tires to "back them up" are an absolute necessity with them.....
