Default DM SpeedCal Question

I recently bought and recieved a SpeedCal made by Dallas Mustangs and I was wondering if anyone has used this product before and has any knowledge of how the install is supposed to be handled.

I bought one and installed it myself. They shorted me a connector and it took them 4 weeks to send me the correct one. I dealt with american muscle though, but it was a DM speedcal. There is a write up on here about the install. I remember hating the instructions i got. Here is the write-up

I have used them twice. I currently have one in my Mach. They work fine. No issues once you get them calibrated. Both times DM sent me the wrongcodes. For the Mach, I just kept changing the codes until I got it right. The install isn't bad, but it can be a little confusing, buteverything is easy to get too, so it isn't bad. Make sure you get a good connection when you splice into your power source (cigarette lighter wire). If you don't, you're speedo will jump around and your cruise won't work. I ended up solderingmine instead of using the Scotch Locks they sent me. Hope I'm scaring you,it's nota bad install and the product works great. Justmake sure youconnect everything securely.
