Lash Adjusters...pi part 2
after installing lash adjusters that worked fine with 42k miles on it into new heads AND cams ( that shoud work with the stock adjusters)if not correctly bleed or soaked in oil, is it possible for the ticking to go away....so far after about 15 min ( on and off) of it running it hasnt yet, cant really tell if its getting better...not much if ne thing. Is there still hope that maybe i can get the oil pressure up enuff to get it to adjust..like could there be air in the system?
thanx to all of you who gave alot of input on the main post about this [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Try pouring either straight up kerosene in your oil or a full can of seafoam and let your engine run for about 10 minutes at idle. Drain the oil and put some fresh stuff in there. If you use kerosene, just put about a drinking glass worth of it. That will clean any sludge that may be giviung you a problem. Hey, it's worth a shot anyways. Just don't leave the cleaners in the oil for more than a day or so as they will potentially dry out your seals.
Or you could pour Marvel Mystery oil in there and just run that the entire length of the oil change! That stuff works great too
