Default Anyone recognise these plugs??

Hi guys,

Been having a bit of trouble recently with vibrations at idle and the odd rattle fromt the underside on my '98 GT auto, so I decided have a look underneath and found these plugs just sort of hangin there, what do you think?

one of the images is just above the exhaust and the other is near the front, thats the front left wheel you see.

Cheers

Kinda hard to tell by the pics, but it looks like the 02 sensor plugs to me.

So should they be hangin or should they be plugged into something??

The one up front is on it's own and attached to a bracket which isn't attached to anything, hence the hangin. And the one with the 2 plugs is just around the middle of the car, I think you can see the prop shaft coming out the trans just behind the plugs.

Thanks for your responce, Geo1400

Check Engine Light. Those are definitely O2 sensors. What kind of mid pipe do you have?

No CEL on and it does work cause it comes on with ignition. I'm guessing the mid pipe is stock, possibly even the original.

If the O2 sensors aren't plugged in how would that affect the performance/drive of the car?
